About the Author:
Chris Eksteen is a farm boy born who was raised in the Free State province of South Africa. He studied tourism management at the Central University of Technology FS, tertiary education at the University of South Africa, business administration at the University of the Free State and holds a masters degree in environmental education from Rhodes University, Grahamstown South Africa. He was the director of the former Koppiesvlei Outdoor Education Centre – a role that equipped him with the wealth of knowledge that he now shares in this Outdoor Education Resource Series.
